Local Searches - Maldon District
If you are buying a property in the Maldon District it is worth noting the current delays with local authority searches. Currently the Maldon District Council website is stating that local searches are taking up to 40 working days to return (eight weeks!)
Whilst we are hoping this dramatically improves soon, we would urge any buyer to ensure their solicitor applies for their searches as quickly as possible, so this does not delay any purchase.
