Holden Estate Agents – Established 2010

The doors open

Co-directors Ryan Holden and Phil Cumbers cut the ribbon and opened their doors for the first time on the 23rd January 2010. Maldon’s newest, and soon to become very successful, estate agent was born. Ryan and Phil quickly established Holden Estate Agents as one of the leading estate agents in the area. As the business grew, a new, bigger and more prominent premises was required. In 2013 a new home was identified, and the nostalgic move was complete. The new address; 15 High Street, Maldon, a familiar building from many years gone by when both Ryan and Phil worked for Taylor and Co.

Accolades

Since opening Holden Estate Agents have been recognised for providing excellent service levels by winning the prestigious ESTA award in 2021, and having appeared in the Best Estate Agent guide every year since 2018. In 2022 we were given the coverted exceptional award in their guide!

Success

2015 through to 2021 have been fantastic years, leading from the front as the number one estate agent in CM9, having sold more properties than any other agent for consecutive years! (source rightmove intel)

Community at heart

The Holden’s team have strong ties to Maldon, from family connections to working history. We have a vested interest in the community and love the Maldon district. We have been known to support the community, and national charities alike, by taking part in all kinds of fundraisers. We are not scared of a challenge…

• Taking part in and sponsoring the famous Maldon Mud Race and raising £200
• In 2017 we raised £917.65 for Children in Need when Ryan sat in a bath of baked beans for 4 hours in freezing temperatures
• Supporting Tolleshunt D’arcy pre-school with a pop-up estate agency for the children
• Ryan and Neil completed the London Marathon and raised £2000 for a local charity.  Ryan finished in 4 hours 14 minutes and Neil 4 hours 10 minutes!
• Ryan raised £385 for Farleigh Hospice by taking part in the Santa fun run
• We took part in the Farleigh Hospice £50 challenge and biked from London to Paris in our office (on exercise bikes!)
